Reveal Brighter, Smoother Skin with Chemical Peels

A chemical peel works by exfoliating the top layers of the skin, allowing the deeper, healthier layers of skin to be revealed. By using acids and other chemicals to exfoliate, chemical peels can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin tone and texture, reduce discolouration, and smooth out rough patches. Chemical peels are a popular and effective skin care solution for people of all ages and skin types, from young adults to seniors. With a variety of different levels of intensity, chemical peels are an excellent way to improve overall skin health and maintain a youthful, glowing complexion.

Your Questions

Every person’s concerns are unique, which is why we take a tailored approach to treatment. Whether you’re looking to address facial ageing, body confidence, or specific skin conditions such as pigmentation, texture, or scarring, our focus is on understanding your goals and creating a plan that enhances your natural features while maintaining healthy, balanced results.

What skin issues do peels help with?

Chemical peels are effective for treating a range of common skin concerns. They can help with:

  • Dull or uneven skin tone (skin brightening)

  • Acne and congested pores

  • Pigmentation and dark spots

  • Signs of ageing, including fine lines and wrinkles

  • Rough texture and sun damage

At our Norwich clinic, we tailor each peel to suit your skin type and goals, ensuring safe, noticeable results.

We offer superficial peels, medium-depth peels, and ZO Skin Health peels. To find the right peel for you; to help you achieve your aesthetic goals, we’d like to invite you to a consultation. Once Dr Raja has an idea of the skin issues that are troubling you, she will be in a better position to make a peel recommendation.

Results from a superficial chemical peel are often visible almost immediately, leaving your skin looking fresher and brighter after just one session. For medium-depth peels, it typically takes 2–3 sessions to see optimal results, as your skin needs time to heal and regenerate between treatments.

Dr Saba Raja will recommend the most suitable peel for your skin concerns and guide you on the expected timeline during your consultation at our Norwich clinic.

Superficial chemical peels require little to no downtime—you can usually return to your normal activities immediately, with only mild redness or flaking. However, for medium-depth peels, we recommend allowing 2–3 days of downtime, as your skin may peel, feel tight, or appear slightly red during the recovery process.

Dr Saba Raja will provide tailored aftercare advice based on the type of peel you receive at our Norwich clinic.
